Tours & Experiences

Heaven & Connacht provides tours and experiences for individuals and couples in a unique part of Ireland where the Hidden Heartlands meet the Wild Atlantic Way.  Tours are shaped by your personal interests and can be adapted as ideas emerge and weather changes.  There are four key themes.
Pre-historic & historic site tours
The Kingdom of Moylurg
Culture & landscape tours
Romantics & Realists
Famine & emigration tours
The Great Hunger
To enhance your experience of the area there are opportunities to develop your skills in photography and learn about archaelogy.  To mark your visit you can plant a tree to improve the environment and remember someone dear to you.  You may also be interested in learning relaxation and meditation or in joining a ‘New Irish’ Supper Club.

Reviews

“A wonderful, professional and intriguing tour covering the Arigna mines, famine graves, the lakes and islands with their Christian associations, a hands and knees crawl into a cairn built thousands of years before Christ, and into the soutrains of a a massive fort perhaps 1,500 years old, the often untold beauty of Sligo-Roscommon, and of course the heart-rending underlay of starvation, landlordism, and emigration.”
